He won a title medal in his first season at the club and was a member of the 15 man squad that won the Championship again so brilliantly in 1978-79 and he scored 16 goals in 30 appearances as Liverpool set a new 68-point record under the former two-points-for-a-win system and a record low of only 16 goals conceded in their 42 matches.
